“Yoga in Dub” is a truly special project from the heart for the soul, based on the idea to morph a handpicked selection of meditative instrumental dub reggae tracks into deep relaxation territory: an excellent and highly credible backdrop for (and inspired by) yoga practice and meditation.
Way off the beaten path of more “traditional”, mostly rather generic meditation muzak, the warm maternal sound concept of “Yoga In Dub” is based on various studio sessions by initiator Felix Wolter aka Dubvisionist, definitely one of Germany’s most authentic dub engineers & producers (also providing drums, keys, bass & percussion on most tracks).
Backed by an allstar line-up of some of some of the finest studio musicians like multi instrumentalist Markus Dassmannn (Senior Allstars), guitarist Nitai Guanmani (The Vision), drummer Marco Baresi (Far East Band) and Ibiza based DJ George Solar (Solar Moon, Chin Chillaz), the Dubvisionist provides his trademark minimalistic magic for even more spiritual purpose than usual this time aroundl: “Yoga In Dub” is all about the gently pumping heartbeat and sweet harmonies, stripped back to the bare essentials for a higher cause… that way empowering a contemplative vibe while holding a sacred space for advanced mindfulness.
